Hawk 3 Recruitment are working with a specialist manufacturer based in Chepstow to recruit a Logistics Administrator to join their company on a permanent basis.

Reporting to Logistics and Facilities Manager

Job Purpose:


To ensure that the company's deliveries are being utilised to maximum efficacy ensuring that customer service levels are kept in line with the companies KPIs.

To ensure that all documentation is accurate.

Responsibilities

  • Despatching of all materials to customers and suppliers ensuring that all the paperwork is
- correct.

  • Ensuring that we have a POD after the delivery has been completed
  • To assist in the daily planning of the company's delivery fleet.
  • To ensure that the drivers' hours are utilised correctly
  • Ensure the export documentation is correct and valid
  • Process UK overnights parcels / pallets
  • Resolving any delivery issues/shortages
  • Work with and advise customers on all related shipping matters.
  • To negotiate with external transport companies.
  • Any other duties that may be required
  • Ensure that the Health & Safety requirements of the Company are always met.
  • Identifying any potential safety issues.

Competencies

  • Competent IT & Keyboard skills
  • Good Communication skills
