Job Overview

As the leader of Basildon & Brentwood Adult Community Mental Health Services, you will oversee day-to-day clinical and managerial tasks. Your responsibilities will include managing the clinical model in coordination with your team leads, budget management, HR processes, performance targets, and more.

Your role will also involve collaborating with the Senior Management Team and Key Stakeholders on Service Transformation to enhance local mental health services continuously.

Working closely with partner organizations, service users, carers, and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team is expected in service delivery.

In your role, it is crucial to exhibit behaviors that resonate with the Trust values and adhere to the NHS Constitution consistently.

Main Job Duties

Responsibilities encompass working with various key partners to address mental health needs in alignment with local mental health strategies. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential for fostering recovery and well-being plans within the community.

Supervising clinical activities, nurturing interagency relationships, ensuring operational efficiency, and striving to meet performance targets are integral parts of this role.

Detailed Job Description and Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of evidence-based interventions to service users based on identified needs.
• Ensure timely access to services for users.
• Foster a team approach to case management for informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior clinicians in the local area.
• Manage clinical activities, casework, and interagency relationships.
• Implement projects to enhance facilities and practices.

Candidate Requirements

Professionals should hold a qualification in Mental Health or similar field, possess varied clinical experience, and exhibit effective problem-solving skills.
