The media team is at the heart of Web Summit, making sure that everyone knows about our events across the world.
The team works with journalists from international outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, CNBC and the BBC on a daily basis, making sure that publications have all the most up to date news from Web Summit events.
The team works closely with the marketing and speakers teams to ensure that everything is aligned when it comes to communicating our brand to the world.
What you'll achieve at Web Summit:
- You'll actively attract and secure top global media partnerships for our events.
- You'll work closely with media partners to provide a highquality attentive service, maximising their experience.
- You'll help to coordinate and plan worldclass events for our media partners.
- You'll attend our events and help to facilitate our media partner needs.
- You'll develop close relationships with the world's leading media brands, enhancing the experience of our partners across our global events.
- You'll collaborate with various teams within Web Summit, from partners to event producers, delivering industryleading partnership activations across all our events.
Who you are:
- You have 3+ years of media partnership experience, ideally in the events space.
- You have a proven track record in negotiating partnerships between global events and media organisations.
- You have experience drafting contracts and working with legal teams.
- You have a proven ability to conceive of and deliver partnership offerings and activations for leading media organisations.
- You're a confident communicator with the ability to form strong business relationships.
- You have highlevel contacts in the media industry, enabling you to speak to decisionmakers on media partnership strategies.
- You have a strong attention to detail in everything you do.
- You're able to prioritise and think outside of the box.
- It would be a bonus if you have strong writing skills.
