- Location: HaringeyAt Carers First, we understand that caring can be hard, but believe getting the right help shouldn't be. We work directly with and for, unpaid carers to provide personalised information, advice and support. Making it easier for those caring for someone else to continue living their lives to the fullest. We are currently seeking a Community Inclusion Coordinator to join our small and friendly team, working across the London Boroughs of Hackney Haringey and Waltham Forest.
The requirements of the role will include volunteer recruitment, the day to day running of our volunteer-led services, and the development of new volunteer-led services in the community.
To be successful you will be someone who's passionate about providing a great service for our volunteers, and committed to enabling our carers to get involved in our service.

5 million people identified as a carer in the 2021 Census and research by carer charities suggest this figure is even higher.
- Carers First is a charity that works directly with, and for carers, providing personalised information and tailored support in the way that suits them: online, on the phone, or face to face in their local community.
Together for 250,000 carers
As a result, carers tell us they feel less alone, have maximised their income and are managing better in their caring role, with 90% of carers saying there has been an improvement in their lives because of our support.
- By 2024, we aim to have reached 250,000 carers to provide access to information, support and resources online, by phone, or face to face. Our services will be designed with carers, ensuring the support we offer is inclusive and accessible to all carers in different communities.
