Gleeson Recruitment are supporting a successful and dynamic business recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team. Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Management Accountant, the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, with the right support, training and development around.
You will be instrumental in providing accurate financial insights, supporting decision-making processes, and enhancing the overall financial performance of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone part qualified in ACCA or CIMA and looking for a role where you can develop your skill set further in a great working environment whilst adding value and putting your month end skill set to good use.
Assisting in the production of management accounts on a monthly / quarterly basisMonth end reporting
Accruals, Prepayments and Journal entries
Balance sheet reconciliations
VAT returns
Managing cash flow forecasting a
Communicate to relevant stakeholders effectively
Weekly KPI reporting
Identify and drive financial efficiency improvement opportunitiesQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (Not essential)
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
Proven experience as an Assistant Management Accountant or similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
