Casual Workers Wanted


We are looking for passionate and motivated Casual Fitness Assistants to join our bank of Casual Workers at Yate Active Lifestyle Centre.

Your duties as a Casual Fitness Assistant will include:

  • Working on the gym floor and assisting customers with achieving their lifestyle goals.
  • Carrying out gym inductions, fitness assessments and teaching exercise classes.


As a Casual Worker you will not work a guaranteed amount of hours, you will cover sickness absences, holidays and will work during busy periods at the centre.

Shifts may include; days, evenings and weekends.


If you do not work for a period of 3 months then you will be removed from our bank of Casual Workers.

We want to hear from you if you.

  • Have a recognised NVQ Level 2 Fitness Qualification or equivalent.
  • Have a passion for health and fitness.
  • Are friendly and enthusiastic about what you do
