Main ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Section Manager, the role of Multi Skilled Operative is part of a key team of Operatives producing dry aggregates material for the construction industry.
Working with aggregates on site and operating machinery and mobile plant (including loading shovels)
Loading shovel (mobile plant)
Day to day maintenance of the plant, maintaining the highest levels of housekeeping
Training and operation on static plant operations to help drive plant optimisation
Working in a team of 5 to ensure that customers get good quality material and on-time deliveries
The Ideal CandidateSuitable candidates for the role Multi Skilled Operative will be able to demonstrate proven experience preferably working within a similar aggregates environment or an Industrial or Factory environment as an Operative or Labourer.
Experience of operating mobile plant including Loading Shovel
Have knowledge of Risk Assessments (ideally within role of Operative)
Be flexible and happy to work as part of an effective Multi-Skilled Operational team, adapting to different tasks within the overall team
Previous experience in mobile plant operations as a Multi Skilled Operative beneficial but not essential as training will be given to the successful candidate
