Day to Day responsibilities:

Ensure all required spares/parts/materials are made available and issued to engineers in good time

Plan and ensure completion of day-to-day warehousing operations, including CRM inventory management systems.

Responsible for security of stores and yard areas (locking and unlocking of stores area and site access for deliveries)

Plan, coordinate, monitor and complete the purchasing, receipt and dispatch of goods

Safely unload, receive and store all site deliveries

Book all goods received, allocate and update product database accordingly

Ensure the quality and the correct quantity of all goods received

Ensure that all goods are suitably wrapped, labelled, protected and maintained in good condition while stored

Ensure that dispatched goods are securely packed and protected suitable for transportation

Ensure good stock levels and stock rotation are maintained.

Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently and safely.

Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate and complete stock takes.

Monitor and report performance and progress

Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness and security in the store's environment.

Ensure correct manual handling techniques are used at all times

Liaise effectively with customers, suppliers and transport companies

Carry out any other reasonable duties or tasks as determined by the needs of the business.

Communicate with all customers, suppliers and internal staff in a courteous and professional manner at all times.

Ensure that forklift inspection is carried out and recorded daily

Experience & Skills needed to succeed in this role:
Experience in stores / Warehouse operations with good decision-making qualities to ensure stores are run safely, efficiently and efficiently.

Trained and experienced in us of fork-lifts

Proficient with data entry, inventory software and systems

Personal attributes required:

A proven ability to adapt to change regularly to overcome a wide range of issues

Good verbal and written communication on skills

A team player with a can-do attitude who is willing to roll up their sleeves, self-motivated and customer focused

Excellent attention to detail

Takes pride in operating at a high standard and giving quality service
