QA Floating Shift

Key Responsibilities

  • To promote, monitor and maintain a high standard of hygienic practice and quality.
  • Monitor finished product against agreed specifications.
  • Carrying out microbiological swabbing and the collection of microbiological samples to the specific regimes.
  • Conducting accompanied hygiene audits with the departmental hygiene teams.
  • Assisting with site fabrication audits and conducting the site glass/brittle materials audits.
  • Checking incoming raw materials against agreed purchasing specifications, to take appropriate corrective actions as required and escalate as appropriate.
  • Input to constantly develop and improve the factory quality systems.
  • To communicate any GMP breaches as appropriate.
  • To drive improvements, by working with all departments, to reduce complaints and other nonconformances.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for QA to join the busy Technical team at the Prepared Poultry site. Majority of the time the working hours would be Monday to Friday with flexibility to cover colleagues on day shift (working on shift pattern 4on-4off) as well as being able to cover the night shift (working on shift pattern 4on-4off) and weekends.

Salary:
£13.24 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
