Finance Manager

Welcome to the Finance Manager position at our company In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the financial aspects of our Diocese. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of our accounting records and management information. Let's dive into the details:

  • Lead and guide the Finance Team members
  • Cultivate a dynamic and adaptable finance team, constantly refining accounting processes and procedures
  • Offer insights into present and future financial strategies and policies
  • Conduct research, create models, and implement budget plans aligned with our overall strategy
  • Provide top-notch financial management and accounting services through the Finance team
  • Effectively communicate financial information to key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all financial reporting standards
  • Provide support to local parishes in optimizing their financial resources
  • Improve the performance of investment assets to maximize returns
  • Analyze Common Fund scheme receipts to enhance income levels
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Management:

  1. Collaborate with the Director of Finance & Operations to create timely budgets and financial plans
  2. Produce revenue and capital forecasts, recommending necessary actions
  3. Generate management information to monitor income and expenditure against budgets
  4. Develop monthly cashflow forecasts
  5. Oversee Common Fund income calculation and parish contributions

Qualifications and Training

  • Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT) or equivalent, or in the final stages of studying with a chartered accountancy body
