Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking to appoint 2 Postgraduate Education Fellows for One of the posts is based at West Middlesex and one is a cross site role, based at the Chelsea and Westminster site, focussing on patient safety.


These posts are an exciting opportunity for junior doctors to formally develop their medical education experience and for those who want to make a commitment to education as part of their career.

Clinical opportunities within the post are available.


Successful applicants should aim to use the year to build on their personal teaching experience, develop expertise in education theory and practice and undertake supervised educational research.

Clinical work is encouraged if wanted.

Each post includes the opportunity for one half or whole day for this purpose, the nature of which is flexible, to allow exploration of areas or interest or to develop further commitment to a chosen specialty.

There is no mandatory on-call work.

  • Fully GMC registered.
  • Have significant experience of working in the NHS.
  • At a more senior level of training than IMT2/CT
  • Able to attend either virtual or facetoface interview if shortlisted anticipated
  • Able to take post anywhere between August
  • October 2023 for a 1year fixed term post some flexibility may be afforded here depending on speciality rotation dates and post appointed to.

We provide services from two main hospitals, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital, and a number of clinics across London and the South-East.
