£13:15 (Probation) to £13.35 per hour.

Hours: 48 Hours a week, plus overtime.

Shifts:
Four on and four off (2 days/2 nights).

07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00

Job Objectives & Responsibilities:


To protect our customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes.


  • Delivering results that meet and / or exceed the Key performance indicators / Service Level agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of this flagship contract.
  • To undertake additional training to ensure continuous selfdevelopment.

Reporting Line:


The Security Officer will report to the contract Security Manager and will be under the Supervision of the Duty Security Supervisor.


Main Duties


The role includes, Visitor Management, Front of House Static Role, Manning turnstiles, Customer service, Client Care, Patrolling, Reporting, Reception duties, Post room duties and CCTV Monitoring.

Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • SIA Licence SG or DS.
  • Corporate Security Experience.
  • Must be flexible and be able to work on days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change due to operational needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can use Excel, Word and Outlook for occasional site control room cover duties.
  • To always provide excellent levels of customer service.
  • First Aid qualification and Action Counter Terrorism (ACT) certificate will be a bonus.
  • Reliable, Responsible and Punctual with the ability to be proactive and think on your feet, use initiative and be aware of your surrounding environment.
  • To have a smart appearance befitting the company.
  • Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties.

Experience:

- security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • SIA (required) SG OR DS
  • First Aid at Work Certification
  • CCTV a benefit
