Advanced Recruit is currently hiring for a long-standing Laser Cutting and fabrication company located in Willenhall, West Midlands.

As a result of expansion, our client is seeking a proficient Laser Setter Operator with experience working on Trumpf machinery.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 6:00 am - 3:00 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • No late afternoons

Responsibilities:

  • Handling raw materials
  • Operating various machinery and tools in the workshop
  • Interpreting engineering drawings
  • Working with mild steel and other materials
  • Utilizing measuring equipment
  • Engaging with in-house systems
  • Collaborating closely with the commercial team

Experience/Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Laser setting and operation, preferably on Trumpf machinery
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and mathematics
  • Comfortable with computer systems
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines
  • Team player mentality
  • Maintaining a clean work environment

Compensation Package:

  • £12-£14 PAYE starting rate with performance bonuses
  • Temporary to permanent contract after 12 weeks
  • Convenient on-site staff parking
