About the Trust
Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the leading provider of health and social care services for people of all ages with mental ill-health and learning disabilities in Surrey and north east Hampshire.
We also provide social care services for people with a learning disability in Croydon and ASD and ADHD assessment services in Hampshire.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Answer telephone enquiries/messages to the team, forwarding to the appropriate member of staff or taking messages accurately and communicating these in an appropriate and timely manner. Maintaining a helpful and courteous manner at all times
- Answer and respond to any queries staff have on a daytoday basis.
- To be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of the data of people using our services, in accordance with Trust policy.
- Refurbishing packs for the teams / service users, i.e., new assessment packs, medication leaflets, memory assessments, etc.
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You'll have the following skills/experience:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills._
