Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the leading provider of health and social care services for people of all ages with mental ill-health and learning disabilities in Surrey and north east Hampshire.


We also provide social care services for people with a learning disability in Croydon and ASD and ADHD assessment services in Hampshire.

We deliver high quality care across our 140 services, all of which are registered with the Care Quality Commission. Individual treatment and support, which helps people work towards recovery, is at the heart of everything we do.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Answer telephone enquiries/messages to the team, forwarding to the appropriate member of staff or taking messages accurately and communicating these in an appropriate and timely manner. Maintaining a helpful and courteous manner at all times
  • Answer and respond to any queries staff have on a daytoday basis.
  • To be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of the data of people using our services, in accordance with Trust policy.
  • Refurbishing packs for the teams / service users, i.e., new assessment packs, medication leaflets, memory assessments, etc.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
