Your primary responsibilities will revolve around maintaining and enhancing client relationships, ensuring top-notch service delivery and professionalism in meeting their financial needs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the main point of contact for our client portfolio and respond promptly to inquiries.
  • Advise clients on tax matters, including personal tax, corporation tax, VAT, payroll, and P11D obligations and deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services for existing clients and contribute to client retention.
  • Service Coordination and Delivery
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial information packages, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Offer tax and accounting guidance.
  • Create annual statutory accounts and file corporation tax returns for limited companies.
  • Handle quarterly VAT returns.
  • Assist in monthly fixed salary payroll processes.
  • Oversee accounting and financial reporting services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Supervise the bookkeeping activities.
  • Team Leadership and Development
  • Guide and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide training on technical issues and industry-specific financial challenges and solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience
  • ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified or equivalent. We will also consider candidates with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a client-facing role within an accounting practice.
  • Skills & Attributes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with minimal supervision.
  • Teamwork – willingness to engage proactively in all tasks.

Technical proficiency – extensive knowledge of accounting, VAT, and tax regulations, and commitment to ongoing professional development.

Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, Dext Prepare, and TaxCalc.
