Currently, the firm is in search of an Analyst to join the finance team responsible for multiple European funds.

The chosen Analyst will play a vital role within the London team, reporting to the Vice President who leads the London Fund Finance team.

Key responsibilities of the Analyst will involve:

  • Fund accounting and administration:
  • - Collaborating with internal and external teams to reconcile monthly NAVs and validate corporate-level activities, such as subscription and redemption operations, distributions, promote calculations, management fee assessments, NAV allocations, liquidity forecasting, and corporate G&A.
  • - Managing liquidity and investor transactions while actively overseeing the fund structure's liquidity, supporting treasury functions for monthly investor activities, and working with service providers to monitor available funds for distribution to align with the fund's distribution strategy.
  • FP&A:
  • - Examining intricate financial data to deliver accurate and timely financial performance reports for decision-making purposes to the board and senior stakeholders.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • - Overseeing the delivery of annual and semi-annual financial statements following IFRS/local GAAP and local regulatory standards, providing financial information to the fund boards and other senior stakeholders.
  • - Assisting the Valuation team in ensuring precise accounting adjustments for determining the Fund's NAV.
  • - Aiding with external audits, including interfacing with service providers, Blackstone management, and external auditors, and reviewing financial information and disclosures within financial statements.
  • Tax compliance:
  • - Collaborating with internal Tax teams and advisors to ensure fund-level compliance and meet investor reporting requirements.
  • - Supporting with ad hoc technical accounting matters and various projects throughout the year.

Qualifications:

  • - Degree and ACA qualified (or equivalent accounting qualification)
  • - Previous experience in private equity funds and/or asset management sectors is beneficial
  • - Strong analytical and financial skills with acute attention to detail
  • - Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • - Eagerness to learn, take on extra projects, and assist colleagues beyond direct responsibilities
