The Associate Banker plays a crucial role in all phases of project execution at the EBRD. They are responsible for tasks assigned by the operation leader, encompassing due diligence, compliance, and post-signing implementation.
Working closely with the project team and under guidance, the Associate Banker contributes to project structuring, implementation, and monitoring of debt and equity transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the lead in project due diligence, ensuring compliance with financial, market, and EBRD policies.
- Prepare internal project documentation and coordinate technical co-operation assistance.
- Monitor project implementation, financial performance, and compliance with agreements.
- Generate comprehensive monitoring reports and propose corrective actions when necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Professional qualification such as ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA desirable.
- Strong quantitative and numerical skills, credit analysis skills, and computer literacy.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; knowledge of French, Arabic, or Russian is a plus.
Experience in the financial industry within international standards is essential, including involvement in full project life cycles and proficiency in a second language.
