Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Banker to join our Manufacturing and Services team at the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development. As an Associate Banker, you will contribute to all phases of the project cycle, including project origination, structuring, execution, and monitoring for debt and equity investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on projects, including financial, market analysis, integrity, and EBRD policy compliance.
  • Monitor existing projects and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Assist with origination of new projects, including market mapping, contacting potential clients, and organizing meetings.
  • Work as a project team member on transactions, contributing to all aspects of project structuring and execution.
  • Prepare and update financial models and financial projections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional qualification such as ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA desirable.
  • Quantitative/numerical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and design financial models.
  • Good credit analysis skills with the ability to interpret accounts and understand local and international accounting principles.
  • Good computer skills with Microsoft Office and spreadsheet packages.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German.
