Here at Aardvark Swift, we've partnering with an award-winning UK AAA studio to help with their search for an Advanced Animation Programmer to spearhead the studio's animation technology across current and future projects.

You'll work with stakeholders at all levels and across the studio, to provide Animators and other disciplines with the ability to deliver world class animations, supported by world class technology.

You will be part of the studio's gameplay systems team, in a hands-on role, which will include architecture and implementation, technology and workflows, people and processes, planning and strategy, R&D and game making.

The studio is known for creating a critically acclaimed series of games that's loved around the world by combining genre topping gameplay with character-driven cinematic narrative and AAA production values.

Develop and maintain animation-related code base and tools to ensure high-quality performance
Collaborate closely with Animators, gathering requirements and providing technical support
Prioritise tasks effectively, delivering pragmatic solutions aligned with project goals
Foster collaboration across feature teams to enhance animation quality across various game elements
Games industry experience supporting and collaborating with animators
Advanced understanding of C++, low-level animation code, and 3D mathematics
Familiarity with cutting-edge animation technologies and industry-standard tools
Experienced in implementing animation features for gameplay or cinematics
Strong communication skills and able to work effectively in a hybrid working environment
