Up and Away Aviation Detailing provide expert cleaning services throughout the UK, helping keep our client's aircraft and brand reputation spotless.


We are looking for proactive and adaptable individuals to join our Luton team, ensuring the highest levels of cleaning standards are consistently delivered.

As an Aircraft Cleaner you will work within a team to carry out interior cleaning on commercial aircraft.

We are looking for individuals to work Monday to Friday night shifts.

It will be 45 hours per week, hours will be variable but mostly likely 21:00-07:00 with an unpaid hour break.

The working pattern will vary around the operation and the need of the business, so occasionally, you will need to be flexible with your working hours.

Night shift allowance will be paid in addition to the hourly rate specified.

Key Responsibilities

  • To contribute to a culture of engagement, involvement and continuous improvement within the cleaning team
  • Removing rubbish from the aircraft and making sure that it is properly disposed
  • Restocking of cleaning vehicles and equipment
  • Clean interior areas of aircraft cabin including removal of blankets, vacuuming carpets, wipe down equipment and surfaces
  • Replenish seat pockets with airline material as per customer specification
  • Clean lavatories, wash basins, surfaces, mirrors and replenish lavatory supplies
  • Clean and sanitise galleys, mopping floors
  • Clean exterior of the aircraft as required
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times, especially when using equipment and PPE

Key requirements

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to suit client needs
  • A full manual driving licence recognised by the UK is desirable but not essential
  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous aircraft cleaning experience would be highly beneficial but fully training will be provided
  • Valid Passport/ID and right to work in the UK
  • 5 years' checkable work history
  • Clean Disclosure/ Criminal Record Check
  • Must be willing to undergo relevant training as require
  • Flexibility to work different shift
