We are currently seeking a Handler to join our Medway Team. This hours are from 8AM-5PM.

As a Call Handler, you will be responsible for:

  • Handle incoming calls from patients and other healthcare providers promptly and efficiently.
  • Record essential information accurately on EMIS for multiple GP practices.
  • Schedule the most appropriate appointments for patients, including GP, Nurse, Health Care Assistant, etc., adhering to different protocols for each practice.
  • Refer patients to pharmacy first where appropriate and book appointments with Allied Health Professionals in line with their scope of practice.
  • Manage call volume and maintain a high level of service across multiple sites.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Perform various administrative duties generated by patient calls.
  • Accurately follow administrative processes and procedures.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
  • Perform call and recall duties to book Nurses, HCAs and Phlebotomist clinics
  • Assist practices to complete EMIS/Docman tasks
  • Undertake any other delegated duties as required.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay:
£12.50-£13.00 per hour
