Job DescriptionnWe are seeking a Senior Façade Consultant with a track record in design and delivery of façade services to major built environment real estate construction projects in the UK, especially London.

This position will principally be supporting the façade team and working alongside our other specialist disciplines. The role will include independent project management of complex design and construction projects, covering all aspects of façades.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating technical engineering solutions and a willingness to work across multiple large-scale projects.

There is a significant opportunity for progression and career development.

You will need to demonstrate relevant and recent experience with appropriately sized projects as well as the ability to engage and communicate effectively with clients, consultants and contractors.


The ideal candidate will have a technical and experience-based facade background, a solid understanding of the numerous design standards and be able to communicate advice appropriately and effectively.

Responsibilities:

nIndependently manage complex projects and resolve complex project issues.nFaçade design engineering and build-ability consultancy, including material knowledge and installation techniques.nPreparation of proposals and seeking and winning new worknDevelop strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business as well as pursue new business opportunities, and contribute to the commercial success of the division.

nProvide technical guidance, support and mentoring to the more junior member of the teamnIndustry leadership through participation in industry professional groups and conferencesnWorking closely with clients to ensure an exemplary level of qualitynExtensive project managementnWorking with our multidiscipline team to ensure coordinated outputsnSupporting the development our Facade offering to the UK

Essential Skills:

nDegree in Architecture / Structural / Mechanical Engineering or similarnPreferably Master's Degree in Facadesn5+ years of technical knowledge in Façade Engineering within Residential, Commercial and Hotels sectors.

nMember of Society of Façade Engineering - preferrednA thorough understanding of facade engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process
