Nursery Housekeeper

Hours : 10am - 3pm but will extend

Requirements for Job role:

• Experience in cooking
• Able to cook variety of cuisines
• Able to follow a recipe
• Able to follow rules in accordance with environmental health legislation
• Willing to acquire food and hygiene certificate
• Applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check

Job role:

• Keeping the nursery presentable in communal areas
• Laundry once per week
• Responsible for Managing the kitchen keeping it safe, clean and hygienic at all times
• Preparing, cooking and serving Lunch for up to 60 children and 10 staff daily
• Taking into account children dietary requirements, food allergies etc
• Cleaning up after lunch
• Preparing/cooking snack time in advance

- keeping written records up to date in accordance with environmental health legislation

• Preparing and Completing food shopping every week

Aplomb Day Nursery
We provide high quality care and education for 60 children aged between 3 months and five years. Our hours of operation are weekdays, 8:00 a.m p.m. We are looking for passionate and experienced nursery practitioner to join our lovely team.

At Aplomb Day nursery we value all our Nursery Nurses and support them in any way we can, this may be support with higher levels of education or support at work.

We will also support you with our in-house training programmes.
