**Hours : 7:30/8am - 4pm but will extend, 50wks per year**

**Requirements for Job role**:

- Experience in cooking for large numbers
- Able to cook variety of cuisines
- Able to follow a recipe
- Able to follow rules in accordance with environmental health legislation
- Acquire food and hygiene certificate
- Applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check

**Job role**:

- Keeping the nursery presentable in communal areas
- Laundry once per week
- Responsible for Managing the kitchen keeping it safe, clean and hygienic at all times
- Preparing, cooking and serving Lunch for up to 60 children and 10 staff daily
- Taking into account children dietary requirements, food allergies etc
- Cleaning up after lunch
- Preparing/cooking snack time in advance
- keeping written records up to date in accordance with environmental health legislation
- Preparing and Completing food shopping every week
- Supporting in rooms over lunch breaks

**Aplomb Day Nursery**

We provide high quality care and education for 60 children aged between 3 months and five years. Our hours of operation are weekdays, 8:00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m.
- Do you have Good English communication skills: written and verbal
- Are you able to multi task efficiently
- Have you got good initiative with a can-do attitude?
- Are you able to follow training and instructions, policies and procedures

Pay: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 35 per week
