Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly skilled and seasoned Senior Formulation Scientist to join our dynamic research and development team. The ideal candidate will spearhead formulation development efforts, creating and refining formulations for different dosage forms while ensuring adherence to regulatory norms. The Senior Formulation Scientist will play a pivotal role in propelling our pharmaceutical product pipeline from concept to market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulation Development: Lead the design, development, and optimization of formulations for pharmaceutical products across different forms.
  • Experimental Design and Execution: Design and execute experiments to assess formulation strategies, excipient compatibility, and stability for product effectiveness and safety.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing processes for scalability and commercialization, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all formulation activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of formulation activities, prepare technical reports, and contribute to regulatory submissions as necessary.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines for timely project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative research setting.

Qualifications:
  • Education: PhD or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in pharmaceutical formulation development, with a proven track record of leading projects from concept to market.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical formulation principles and techniques, experience with various dosage forms, proficiency in analytical techniques, and familiarity with statistical analysis software.
  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address formulation challenges.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
