Outpost24 is seeking a talented Senior Security Engineer to join our team in the UK.

As the new Senior Security Engineer, your key tasks will involve ensuring that customers receive their service deliverables as outlined in our Statements of Work. This includes conducting Vulnerability Management Calls with customers to help them prioritize and mitigate risks in their environments.

The Senior Security Engineer will also collaborate within our Jira Service Desk to offer customers expert technical assistance with the services and tools they utilize.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Offering advanced technical expertise to customers and colleagues.
  • Performing advanced technical troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Delivering the Security Program to customers through reporting.
  • Leading Vulnerability Management calls with customers.
  • Supporting customers via our Service Desk.
  • Conducting onboarding sessions for new and existing customers.
  • Summarizing insights and recommendations from data analysis during the report creation process.
  • Maintaining documentation of customer configurations.
  • Explaining valuable information to customers to help them interpret presented data and take necessary actions to enhance their security posture.

This role reports to the MS Team Lead UK and is open to candidates all across the UK, offering the possibility of a fully remote position.

What will make you stand out as an ideal candidate?

  • Holding at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Having a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Security Engineer role or similar.
  • Being a go-to resource for knowledge of standard operating systems, Networking, Cloud architectures, System Authentication (AD/LDAP/SMB/SSH), DNS, and common business software.
  • Expertise in data analytic tools (PowerBi) and understanding of IT compliance standards.
  • Demonstrating superior troubleshooting abilities.
  • Possessing excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable delivering presentations to various audiences.
