Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up new customer accounts, following credit check process
  • Approving daily sales invoices through an invoice approval system
  • Dealing with various customer queries
  • Resolving billing queries in an efficient and timely manner
  • Credit control maintenance, to ensure payments are received on time
  • Work closely with the Credit Control Manager when required to minimise the occurrence of problem debts
  • Organising any refunds or adjustments
  • Process and send monthly customer statements
  • Liaise with other colleagues to ensure any anomalies are investigated and resolved
  • Other duties appropriate to the role
Skills and abilities

Essential:

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have a practical and methodical approach to tasks
  • Able to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Required to work 1 in 4 saturdays on a rota basis
