Summary


This job is responsible for the organisation, monitoring and reporting of product flow and all associated administration tasks for Work Order processing.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Transfer of SIOP (Sales Inventory Operational Planning) manufacturing schedule into ERP Work Orders and escalation of issues & component shortages.
  • Processing of nonstandard component Sales Orders.
  • Understanding of stock control processes and assist with quarterly stock counts.
  • Maintain and report manufacturing performance measures and drive improvements in manufacturing control from KPI data.
  • Support Manufacturing Manager on capacity planning models.
  • Writing and maintenance of process flows, and Standard Operating Procedures embedded into quality management system.
  • Promote continuous improvement in all aspects of manufacturing control functions.
  • Inventory management to align manufacturing subassembly stock with site inventory targets.
General Tasks

  • Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
  • Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

  • Knowledge of manufacturing product, information flows and Bill of Materials.
  • Knowledge of Sales and Operations planning processes.
  • Excellent crossdepartmental communication through full Sales Order to Logistics manufacturing cycle.
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes including material & information.
  • Previous experience within a similar role.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Can demonstrate initiative and ability to "think on feet".
