About the Role
Connex Education is working to recruit ECT's to work full time from September in primary schools based in Swadlincote.
This is a very exciting opportunity to work with a fantastic Trust and build your experience.
As an Early Career Teacher you will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students.
- Plan and execute engaging lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.
- Contribute to the broader life of the school community, including extracurricular activities.
- Lesson Planning and Delivery: Create and deliver effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assessment: Regularly assess student work, track progress, and provide timely feedback.
- Classroom Management: Establish a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and respect.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in education.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to share resources and strategies.
- Educational Background: A relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one.
- Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Classroom Management: Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
