About this Exciting Opportunity:

The Everyday Banking legal team is an essential part of the Consumer Division within the Legal & Secretariat Community. We are looking for someone who is inquisitive, adaptable, and passionate to join our dynamic team at the core of the Everyday Banking business.

  • Your primary responsibilities will revolve around various issues impacting personal bank accounts and savings.
  • You will play a key role in transformation projects, contributing to the enhancement of products and services.
  • Providing valuable legal insights and business advice to stakeholders in Everyday Banking, you will help drive exceptional outcomes for both customers and LBG.
  • Ideally, you should possess expertise in retail banking law, consumer law, FCA regulations, Payment Services Regulations, and other relevant industry standards. However, if you have related skills and a willingness to learn, we encourage you to apply.
  • Demonstrating solid legal, commercial, and risk assessment skills is crucial.
  • Building strong alliances and consensus across various functions while actively addressing legal matters with business leaders is key.
  • You should thrive in challenging environments and effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Collaboration with other legal teams and involvement in Consumer Legal initiatives are also part of this role.
