Our client is a cutting-edge Private Equity-backed SaaS company with a well-established, scalable platform. They are primed for significant international expansion through both organic growth and a series of planned acquisitions. The recently appointed CFO brings a wealth of experience in growing Tech companies, with a strong background in Private Equity and successful exits. Now, they are seeking a forward-thinking Group Head of FP&A to join their dynamic team.

This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional looking to advance their career towards the CFO role. You'll play a key role in strategic decision-making and driving the review cycle across the organization. Although the finance team is based in Sheffield, this company values agility, allowing the new role to be located anywhere in the UK with a commitment to maintaining a presence across the business and occasional travel. The leadership team frequently meets in London, and the new role will collaborate closely with London-based investors.

About the Role:

  • Budgeting, forecasting, and planning
  • Developing and managing an integrated forecasting and business planning process
  • Optimizing NetSuite functionality for analysis and reporting
  • Producing required information for investors
  • Collaborating with Sales Director to enhance Salesforce utilization
  • Implementing reporting and analysis for lead generation
  • Designing Cash Flow forecasts
  • Supporting the CFO in commercial and strategic decision-making
  • Providing insights from data analysis and developing business models
  • Driving robust processes around cost control and cash flow projections
  • Delivering timely financial reports
  • Handling ad hoc projects such as due diligence

Key Requirements:

  • Graduate level education and professional accountancy qualification
  • Experience in a Technology/SaaS company
  • Track record of collaborating with sales and commercial functions
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and demand planning
  • Exposure to M&A and strong business acumen
  • Skills in strategic thinking and relationship-building
