We are now seeking to strengthen our Systems Engineering team in London to work across a number of High Speed and Conventional rail projects, by recruiting an experienced Principal Systems Engineer.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of experience within the Systems/Civil Engineering/Transportation/Infrastructure sectors.

MAIN DUTIES
Principal Systems Engineer will be accountable for the delivering high quality Systems Engineering services to our clients, including:


appropriate Systems Engineering processes for a team of the Systems Engineers which will include:nEngineering (RE).nSystems Design (SD).nAnalysis e.g., Functional, Physical, Performance.nModelling.nIntegration Cost / Value Engineering Change Control Management (CM & Validation (V&V).nSystems Engineering discipline activities (e.g., Safety, Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, EMC, Human Factors, etc.)nof Systems Engineering Deliverables within time and budget.

ncompetence framework For Systems Engineering Resourcesnand maintaining good relationships all external parties to enhance the reputation of the companyncollaboratively with Project teams and stakeholders

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Degree in a relevant subjectnProfessional Institute Membership (IET, INCOSE) would also be desirable but not essential

Experience of Systems Engineering on Large Railway projects including at least some of the following:nRequirements and V&VnSystems IntegrationnInterface managementnSystem ArchitecturesnCommon Safety MethodnHuman Factors
