What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the Framework Delivery Manager and supporting the existing Store Person, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of stock, machinery and equipment held at Stonbury offices.

You will work in line with our core values and role model our sustainability culture. You will be Health & Safety conscious and focussed on minimising waste whilst improving efficiencies. You will be extremely well organised with high housekeeping standards.

Part of your role will require you to test equipment ensuring optimum condition for use and compliance with Company and Legal standards.


Who we're looking for:
We are looking for that blend of practical working knowledge with academic understanding that can deliver with impact.

ESSENTIAL

  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Comfortable with lifting and/or moving heavy items in a safe manner.
  • Organised and focussed.
  • A positive attitude and committed to high levels of care for other staff members.
  • Able to work to a high standard of health and safety and quality.

DESIRABLE

  • Forklift or Telehandler License
  • Store Person or Workshop experience
  • PAT Training Certificate
  • Good Understanding of COSHH

While the role is concentrated around the Stores in Derby, you may also from time to time be required to collect company vehicles or organise for them to be cleaned, travel to another worksite or work location or help with office odd jobs such as testing the fire alarm.
