There is the opportunity to recruit an Assistant Practitioners or Nursing Associates to work with the Nursing and Healthcare team on the St Mawes, a busy surgical admissions ward.
The applicant must have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and undertake new skills.St Mawes is bedded ward. We strive to provide excellent patient care and create effective but safe patient flow throughout the hospital.
As a Band 4 joining our Nursing Team you will be expected to work within both areas of our service.
We work closely with our surgical team of doctors so you must have excellent communication skills.- Sustainability is integral to the Trust achieving the NHS Net Zero target. All staff are therefore actively encouraged and supported to implement new ways of working within their field of expertise. _
As a Band 4 on the area you will be supported to nurse a cohort of patients and be responsible for their care, leading on their care and joining ward rounds to ensure that there is an MDT approach to the patient journey.
