YOUR ROLE


This role is primarily responsible for the management & maintenance of the freight booking, booking optimisation and the customer collection, pickup and final mile delivery arrangement including onward forwarding requirements.

Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Manage and take responsibility for all customer bookings after job acceptance and creation.
  • Act as internal and customer facing front end to all operational processes on active shipments.
  • Perform booking optimisation both in line with quoted services and according to internal guidelines.
  • Control and prepare all required import / export documents to counterparts.
  • Oversee shipment status and identify and ensure resolution of active shipment incidents.
  • Provide accurate costing of jobs in line with agreed tariffs & quotations.

To be successful, you will need to have previous experience in a similar role, be a strong communicator with high levels of attention to detail.
