We are seeking one or more assistants to collect children from school and walk with them to our out of school care setting.


Would suit:
- applicants looking for a permanent part time position
- school/nursery support staff looking for additional hours
- students
- semi retired
- parent collecting own child from any of the following schools: Murray Primary, St Louise, Heathery Knowe

Hourly Rate:

£11.07

School term only

Hours: 3pm to 4pm (approximately)

Additional hours may be available if desired, e.g to cover staff absences or during school holidays.

Qualifications required:

  • NC Childhood Practice /SVQ2 Playwork/PDA school support assistant
  • Any equivalent qualification at Level 2 or above which complies with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration requirements for workers in a day care of children setting.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

Together with colleagues:
Collect children by foot from local schools and escort them safely to the service base

Based in the Murray area of East Kilbride, we are open approximately 51 weeks of the year, providing a range of indoor and outdoor activities from our well-equipped premises.
