School Escort

We are seeking one or more assistants to collect children from school and walk with them to our out of school care setting.

Would suit:

- applicants looking for a permanent part time position
- school/nursery support staff looking for additional hours
- students
- semi retired
- parent collecting own child from any of the following schools: Murray Primary, St Louise, Heathery Knowe

**Hourly Rate**:
£11.07

School term only

Hours: 3pm to 4pm (approximately)

Additional hours may be available if desired, e.g to cover staff absences or during school holidays.

**Qualifications required**:

- NC Childhood Practice /SVQ2 Playwork/PDA school support assistant
- Any equivalent qualification at Level 2 or above which complies with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration requirements for workers in a day care of children setting.

**Your main responsibilities will be to**:
Together with colleagues: Collect children by foot from local schools and escort them safely to the service base
