We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.

As the first point of contact for maintenance issues, you will ensure all repairs are completed to the highest standards and in compliancewith health and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) within agreed timescales and complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
  • Respond promptly to service call requests from the Helpdesk, assess the requirements of the job, and carry out repairs as necessary.
  • Prioritize maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
  • Conduct fire alarm system maintenance and emergency lighting tests and repairs.
  • Follow the purchase order process and identify nonrepairable faults in plant and machinery, providing suitable replacement recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance documentation is completed and uptodate at all times.
  • Report any repair and maintenance issues likely to affect the smooth running of the site to the onsite customer (manager).
  • Carry out surveys, complete reports as required by City management, and make minor alterations and installations within your technical competence.
  • Attend training courses as necessary to keep up with technical developments and comply with the company Health and Safety Policy at all times.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner, build good relationships with City and customer employees, and work with them to maintain quality standards.
  • Participate in a 24/7 callout rota.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • They should have experience in maintaining and repairing a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, such as commercial ovens, dishwashers, and microwaves.
  • The ability to work efficiently, maintain quality standards, and respond to service call requests within agreed response times is essential.
