Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team.

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and ensuring their safe collection and transportation to the laboratory.

Your attention to detail, knowledge of medical procedures, and ability to provide excellent patient care will be essential in this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform venipunctures and collect blood specimens from patients
  • Verify patient information and ensure accurate labeling of specimens
  • Follow proper aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment
  • Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing and ensure timely delivery
  • Monitor patients during the phlebotomy process and address any concerns or complications
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and other relevant data
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper specimen collection and handling
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program
  • Current certification as a Phlebotomist
  • Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
  • Proficient in performing venipunctures and using aseptic techniques
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment

Job Type:
