Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

As part of our team, as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, your role is key to managing costs and procurement for our diverse range of projects efficiently. You will collaborate with senior quantity surveyors and project teams, being responsible for various quantity surveying tasks, including but not limited to:

- Preparation of tender and contract documents
- Conducting cost analysis and estimates
- Monitoring project progress and costs
- Evaluating variations and change orders
- Communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Contributing to cost control and risk management
- Assistance in financial reports and forecasts preparation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Several years of experience in a similar role in construction or civil engineering
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective work in a fast-paced environment and task prioritization
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
