Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom University of Cambridge Full time

The Bio-spark programme Coordinator is a brand new and exciting role that supports the growth and development of the Bio-spark Programme.

This is a varied and interesting role, looking to recruit a motivated individual with good attention to detail and communication skills.

The role holder will understand the needs and initiate new ideas to develop and build the programme as well as develop and implement project plans.

Bio-spark is an entrepreneurial programme and support system for early-career academics considering a career in business and enterprise.

It is a fellowship programme that provides internships at Pharma, Biotech or Venture partners, mentorship for those with ideas for setting up companies, and networking opportunities for all Bio-spark fellows.

This is a "learn by experience" programme that runs outside of PhD and Postdoc responsibilities.

The Bio-spark Programme is run through Cambridge Gravity, an initiative which inspires and supports early-career scientists to fulfil their entrepreneurial potential.

The role holder will be based at the Milner Therapeutics Institute in a hybrid capacity.

The Milner Therapeutics Institute is a unique working environment, with start-up businesses, academics and pharma companies working side by side across shared office and laboratory space.

We pride ourselves on our excellent cultural values creating a safe space with equality & diversity at the forefront.
