Job Description

As a Senior Commercial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making within the company by providing actionable insights and analysis

You will collaborate closely with the Commercial and Product teams to ensure that business decisions are data-driven and aligned with the company's objectives, whilst ensuring correct commercial and customer outcomes.

Drive high quality analysis to understand commercial performance, customer outcomes and identify business opportunities from requirements gathering through to completion Build a proactive strategic partnership with key stakeholders from the Commercial department, championing their requirements and priorities with the wider Data team Monitor key performance indicators across Commercial and Product teams, providing recommendations and BI capabilities to improve performance and efficiency Support change and migration initiatives across the organisation, whilst adhering to data team processes and best practice Adhere to, champion, and seek to improve Data team processes and best practices

Qualifications

4+ / 5+ years' experience in analytical roles Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data and insights clearly. Strong SQL skills Proficient in Excel. Experience developing reports / dashboards in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Excel Foundational knowledge of data warehouse and modelling Experience of cloud data platforms desirable, e.g. Snowflake Previous Financial Services and/or Retail experience desirable Python experience desirable
