Expense Reporting Manager

Based in either Guildford or Bournemouth, you will join the Financial Planning and Analysis team, ensuring clear and transparent expense reportingand management across the organization.
You are required to commute to the office 5-6 times a month.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of expense reporting to provide insight and transparency on expenditure across the company to senior stakeholders and Group colleagues
- Integrate all expense reporting into a central location to deliver efficient reporting
- Lead the monthly and quarterly expense cycle with focus on consolidation of the UK performance and Group deliverables
- Manage and coordinate the annual expense budgeting Plan cycle and regular forecasting
- Challenging the business on the robustness of Plan and forecast assumptions to ensure financial performance is optimised
- Drive further business insights through expense benchmarking, including review of competitor results, market development and legislative changes
- Support the wider FP&A with Group requests, analysis and consolidation support across Allianz UK Group
- Key member of the FP&A and Finance Leadership team
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant degree (numeracybased) or equivalent.
- Qualified Accountant with minimum 5 years Post Qualified Experience (essential)
- Strong knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance P&L (knowledge of IFRS 17/9 would be advantageous)
- Strong people management experience in a large insurance entity and working in a matrix environment
- Proven track record of delivering change
