Court Work Facilitator

Are you analytically minded, with knowledge of public law and a passion for supporting and developing others?


We are looking for someone to provide support, coaching and to assist with planning for our court work, with a focus on improving quality and consistency and supporting best practice.

You will join an established team of Court Work Facilitators based across the county.

Court Work Facilitators are responsible for supporting Social Workers in their planning of public and private law work, consistent use of best practice tools and templates, preparation of court evidence, ensuring that matters before the Court are heard and dealt with in a timely way and the best outcome is achieved for the child/young person.


You will provide guidance and coaching to Social Workers who are managing pre-proceedings, care proceedings and private law cases, including support to social workers in their preparation of written and verbal submissions to court.


Supporting the Practice Lead with responsibility for Court Work, you will support county-wide training and workshops to train and develop colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to Court Work practice in Norfolk is achieved.
