Assistant Bodyshop Manager position at Southend-on-Sea

Salary: £30k to £38k (based on experience)

Job Type: Permanent/Full Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday (8am - 6pm with 1 hour lunch break)

If you are an experienced Bodyshop professional looking to join a dedicated team in Southend-on-Sea, our client has an exciting opportunity for you.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting time frames and utilizing management systems
  • Interacting with various stakeholders including internal/external managers, suppliers, and customers
  • Demonstrating high-quality repair techniques
  • Emphasizing best practices, performance excellence, and top-notch customer service
  • Performing stage inspections and final quality assessments
  • Assisting the Bodyshop Manager in workshop operations
  • Collaborating with customer admin teams to monitor workflow progress
  • Providing support to team members and promoting teamwork

Your Background & Skills:

  • Prior experience in a Bodyshop setting (e.g., Bodyshop Manager, Workshop Controller, Assistant Manager)
  • Thorough understanding and experience in Bodyshop repair processes
  • Familiarity with Bodyshop Management systems & Audatex is advantageous
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Active NVQ or ATA certification is a plus
  • Effective time management skills
  • Capability to thrive in high-pressure environments
