Main purpose of role:
At Optimal Maintenance, our field-based team is the backbone of our operations, ensuring the smooth execution of every maintenance task and project. These proficient problem-solvers are instrumental in driving the success of Optimal Maintenance by delivering exceptional property repairs, maintenance services, and ensuring client satisfaction. As a Maintenance Engineer based in London, you will have access to our enticing benefits package, including profitable incentives for labor jobs and a competitive call-out rate of £40 per hour. The daily responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer may include:
- Conducting thorough property inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential issues
- Performing scheduled repairs and maintenance tasks promptly and efficiently
- Responding promptly to emergency callouts and addressing urgent maintenance issues
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance-related problems
- Utilizing specialized tools and equipment for effective repairs and installations
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work and communicating effectively with clients
Skills / Experience / Competence:
Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry
- Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and joinery skills
- DBS Certificate/check holder
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills with a focus on quality work
- Reliable and committed to delivering consistent high-quality work
- Confident in quoting and winning projects
- Proficient in using smartphones
