Logistics Administrator

***Pertemps are working with a fast-growing organisation who are looking to add a logistics administrator to their team. This role is crucial within the business and you will manage all movement of engineers. You will ensure timely and complete scheduling of routine maintenance and critical faults. Scheduling will include efficient route-planning to ensure productivity is maximised, liaising with customers and ensuring excellent customer service is delivered consistently.
Within this role you will work closely with the Head of Logistics and the wider team.

If you are a strong administrator who has previous experience in a scheduling or logistics-based role then I want to hear from you You must be organised and have the ability to use various systems and packages.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Building strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Acting as a key point of contact.
  • Providing administrative support to the wider logistics team.
  • Arranging both internal and external training for all personnel on site.
  • Arranging travel, vehicle and accommodation when required.
  • Maintaining databases and spreadsheets.
  • Dealing with vehicle maintenance.
  • Managing engineers' overtime to ensure it is approved weekly and passed to payroll.
  • Providing administration support as and when required.
  • Previous experience in an administration based role.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Experience organising or scheduling.
