As an IT Depot/Asset Supervisor you will provide supervision and coordination to the Depot team within the IT Department.

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for stock levels and placing orders with Dell to replenish the stock in the Depots across the UK
  • Responsible for keeping to the agreed refresh cycles for the different Operating Units
  • Imaging machines for RPS units
  • Leading the teams across the Depots, updating and managing team meetings
  • Completing yearly Asset budget figures
  • Responsible for Maintaining accurate and up to date records.
  • Approving Purchase Orders
  • Liaising with colleagues in the IT team in Tetra Tech US, managing a build process, working with them to discuss any updates required or issues.
  • Managing the maintenance of the Operating System
  • Arranging the collection of redundant IT kit across all Depots
  • Mentoring colleagues in New Roles within the Depot
  • Advising Depot on Software installations
Assist in tracking the location of hardware equipment including uncontactable kit

Completing invoice checks

Who we're looking for
To be considered for the role you will need good IT, Maths and English skills able to demonstrate the following:

  • Good budgeting skills, numbers and understanding forecasts and spend.
  • Excellent skills in excel for completing budgetary reports.
  • Good skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook and Windows 1
  • A good understanding of Active Directory, Software Centre along with Client Injector.
  • A good understanding of software and compliance knowledge will be beneficial.
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management.
  • Ability to prioritise workload against the needs of the business and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to ensure effective and efficient working.
  • Able to manage and work well in a team with good cooperation with colleagues, supporting each other as necessary.
  • Ability to work effectively on an individual basis.
  • Determined and energetic with the ability to "make things happen".
  • Discretion due to the sensitive nature of some information.
  • Ability to follow processes.
  • A potential to complete a Security Clearance process (SC).
