Do you have a mechanical & engineering background? Team player? Excellent communicator & leader? We are currently searching for a Workshop Supervisor to oversee our business at the Port of FelixstoweAre you the 'people person' we are looking for?

Working days, with some overtime where requested, we require you to assist in the upkeep of the Workshop facility. Ensuring the working environment is clean and free form obstruction, whilst operating within DFDS Safe Working Practices & Procedures. Maintainingthe safety of all employees, sub-contractors, and visitors alike, promoting a 'Safety Starts with Me' culture.

Maximise current revenue streams generated by the teams via the various elements they undertake, such as trailer repairs, shunting of units, dieselsales, MOT's & warehousing & transhipment tasks, along with identifying new opportunities for the business.

We expect you to supervise the management of stock & purchase of parts, tools, plus other equipment, whilst supporting the shift leaders throughout.


Clear communication is paramount to guarantee a smooth handover between shifts and maintain excellent interaction with both our internal & external customers in a timely efficient manner.

There is naturally a significant element of daily administration,ensuring all work is processed on the relevant systems, the planning & authorisation of the team's annual leave, the managing of absences, and regular performance reviews are maintained.
