We have excellent links with local universities for post registration development.Our Antenatal Clinic provides a high standard of Antenatal Care to a diverse population of High Risk women. Alongside the specialist Consultant clinics, our Midwives run a variety of midwife led clinics including BMI, Pre Operative, Out of Area bookings, VBAC, and vaccinations
As well as working within the midwife led clinics the successful applicant will assist with coordinating the day to day running of the Antenatal clinic including follow up of defaulters,, ordering of pharmacy stock and maintaining ward assurances.
Our maternity unit includes a Consultant Led Obstetric Unit - consisting of high risk labour and birth rooms (including one fixed birth pool room), High Dependency Care beds, 2 obstetric theatres and recovery areas, bereavement suite and maternity triage area.
The Serenity Midwife Led Unit, our award winning alongside birth centre, has five birth rooms and a dedicated assessment area to support 1200 births per year.
Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust (SWBT) is an integrated care organisation with a budget of approximately £600 million and over 7,000 staff.
